Upgraded to UI6 and nothing workds

I had some time yesterday to finally do the upgrade on both my units so I did. I received successful install notifications and life was great. Great until I decided to try and use it again. I went through the GETVERA website, registered a new username and password like I was told and went through their new interface to connect my units, all seemed to go very well. After all was said and done, I can access my units when I am logged onto my network. I can control all devices with the “old” iPhone app; however, when I use the “new” iPhone app and login with my new username and password it shows that no devices are detected. Seeing that I could solve my problem by using the “old” app i was ok with everything until I left my network. I can not connect to any of my devices remotely, the only way I can control my devices is if I am on wifi and on the same network. I didn’t touch any settings, all i did was update. When trying to access the new user profiles or settings page from my new web browser interface it asks me for my username and password, I enter the information correctly and it logs me out and takes me to another login screen. I then login and it brings me back to the page where it says no devices detected and it is wanting to search my network for devices. I say ok, it finds them just fine and now it wants me to set them up. I keep going around and around with this circle and it is very frustrating. The think I fear is that I will not be at my house now for over 2 months and I am not real sure that vera will be able to access my units remotely to be able to tinker with them. Any help would be great…

I am having a similar problem. Anyone figure it out?

I keep saying this:

Raise a support request with Micasaverde.

Not only is it unlikely that the forum knows how to help you (many of us are staying on UI5 because we don’t see any benefit to upgrading yet), but every support request that MCV has to deal with will be logged inside the company. If they receive enough support requests they will be more likely to act on the upgrading problems and improve the process for future upgraders. (Which doesn’t help you, personally, but you came to the forum, so clearly you believe in altruism…)

I have exactly the same situation. Can anyone help?

you can revert to UI5

Have you tried logging out and back in with MMS Vera on your phone? It has to authenticate each time it logs in. I don’t know all the details but I kept having to log out and log back in on MMS Vera for it to show my devices. Which was annoying. Not sure what type of phone you have but I canned the MMS Vera app and now use VeraMate for IOS. It automatically re-login and refreshes data on restart.

I have had weird issues also after doing the update. Im up and running on the new mms vera appt but the only think not working is my thermostat and my log in page is messed up.

Yesterday I’ve entered in my vera lite to create a scene and I saw the upgrade. I upgraded the unit and I only have problems.

I can?t access remotely throug cp.mios.com, only works with MMS Vera in my cell. My thermostat (the only one who works in Europe) don?t works.

Solutions? Erase all z-wave net and recreate all? Downgrade? How can i do a downgrade?

The thermostat issue is a known problem. You will need to contact MCV support. Also once upgrading to UI6 you will now have to use the MMS authentication. That means you can not use cp.mios.com. You will need to log in via getvera.com to access your unit. You will also have to use apps that support the MMS authentication which there are only a few right now that support it.

Finally I downgrade my system to 1.5.622 and rebuild my z-wave net.
Before I contacted Vera and Support tried to help me.

This weekend I take the initiative to change my firmware, and I resolved problems with my themostat.

Everything works again. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks to everyone

The UI6 code have switched Fahrenheit and Celsius variables. When the UI reads F it is actually C and vice versa.
