Upgraded to 1.7.513 UI7

I was encouraged to find that scenes can now be assigned to a room. When looking at the dashboard, the scenes do not appear.

I would expect that scenes would be treated like devices that are assigned to a room and would show up in the dashboard.

Am I missing something?

New icons for scenes… but did you know you can now DEACTIVATE a scene by clicking on the scene icon?

Strange that I need to trip over these things; anyone have a location for the release notes?

Did the upgrade.
It required a reboot to come alive so you need to be locally when doing it.
Foscam PTZ can now be turned from the clients again! ;D
Seems like the whole network is not found so I will run a full repair and keep my thumbs that it works after that.

Funny that they did not mention the deactivate icon. Great idea. With so many scenes, you would not want them to show up on the dash.

I have recommended to vera that they should do the following:

On the dashboard…

  1. “My Shortcuts” should be renamed “My Favorite Scenes”

  2. “My Favorites” should be renamed “My Favorite Devices”

  3. On the scenes page, the “shortcuts” that you normally see on the dahsboard should be in a new section titled “Built-In Scenes”. These scenes are non-editable. (Things we currently see in “shortcuts”, like lock all dorrs, turn off all lights…)

  4. On the scenes page, each scene should be able to be be “starred / marked favorite” (Including the built-in scenes). Only that are marked as a favorite will appear on the dashboard in the My Favorite Scenes section.

Now I have upgraded twice but i’m still stuck on 1.7.439
