Thanks Garrett. Do I just go into apps, uninstall PLEG and then re-install v5.8? That’ll keep the PLEGs the the v5.7 app already created?

You do not need to remove anything to update the plugins. Please see this thread:

Do you know if this update information holds true to UI6 for both local update and remote?

Update: I’m running UI6. I enabled Auto Update on the app and they updated automatically. I did not try the link commands. Thanks!

The remote update will NOT work with UI6.

I’m trying to update to the latest PLEG but the manual update is simply returning: BAD_PLUGIN

Nothing is seen in the status section of my vera in the other window. I’m on a pretty old version as I failed to keep an eye on updates. I’m on 5.2.

The only thing I can think of is to uninstall the plugins and start over. I would rather not loose all of the settings as there are ALOT.

Side note, I just read about the new license system. Mine never stopped working and I have several PLEG’s with way more than 5 each.

looks like I have a new issue, when I open a PLEG, I have this message. I guess that autoupdate weas on but causes issues, can I have some guidance on how to fix the problem ?

I am having a problem with version mismatch on my Vera3. I do have the apps set to auto update.
PLC is version 7.31 and PLEG is 7.33
I have tried doing the manual update as described in this thread without any luck.

Any ideas on what I may be missing?

In UI7 the Icon does not show
I looked ande the shortcut (.png) looks missing in the: (image)

When you upgrade (or downgrade) from UI5 to UI7 you need to update the Plugins.

i did a reinstall without help
i am not able to access my unit in any way now so i have to check if an update is available later

I did a full un- and re-inistall of pleg and enabled automatic updates, which already was.
I checked the PLEG device but no icon (The app itself has an icon though)
I opened WINSCP and noticed in the “/cmh/skins/default/img/devices/device_states/” folder the link “ProgramLogicEG.png” missing (which is actual a link but you’ll know that)
I duplicated another link and renamed it into ProgramLogicEN.png
I then edited the link in winscp to change the link to “/etc/cmh-ludl/ProgramLogicEG.png” (I noticed the actial icon in there like the others)
Now I have an icon on my PLEG device

Is it possible the installation (through the apps in the Vera UI7) has a minor bug and does not create the link?

Script that creates the link has not changed in many months … and the link creation is the first of 12 links that are created.

I was in the process of opening my change purse to buy another PLEG License but am unable to.
I open one of my PLEG device(s) => Register and receive the following msg “[glow=red,2,300]Error executing function plc_Register(): PLC.RegisterMsg is undefined[/glow]”. Any suggestions, Mike
