Ok, my Vera Lite has unwanted growth issues. 
I haven’t added or deleted anything in my Lite for a few weeks now, and this morning I have 9 new unnamed devices, and 3 new generic motion sensors.
I am still on 1.7.541.
Any idea ?

What devices do u have installed? As ny mimo lites or scen controls? 4 in one devices?
Couple of Fortrezz Mimolite for the garage doors
One 4 in 1 Aeon Lab motion sensor. ( I only use it as a temperature sensor only, the motion being incredibly unreliable )
Couple more dimmers and couple of switches.
As plugins, I have PLeg, Mimo Garage Door, Heliotrope, and IPhone finder

Well could me mysterious child devices created by the mimolite plugin or the Aeon 4-1. Both are known to have this possibility. Looking in the advanced tab you should see the id for the parent device to make the connection. But at this point your only possible solutions are to just run a back and delete them or restore from a backup before you saw them. I would also turn off Auto Configure devices in the Z-wave settings for now.
