Unit on battery power fails?

Hi,

Just started the new project, connected fine to computer, updated firmware, so I was ready to include my first device. Detached it from power and network. Pushed the battery button and all lights quickly lit (hold for 3 seconds) and let go and then power light goes off and thats it. Nothing. Used different batteries and same result. Is my unit faulty or am I doing something wrong?

Did you resolve this?

Sometimes my Veralite can take a while to boot when on the battery pack. Did you try it again?
If you are having issues with running in battery, you can still try ‘High Power Inclusion’ mode.

Yes, thanks for checking in. I had to RMA the first unit and the new one has worked without fail. Now if I can only get the new thermostat installed (24 common wire issue).
