Unable to set correct mode in activities

Hi,

I have a remotec ZXT-120.

I am trying to set ‘SetModeTarget’ under SERVICE HVAC_user Operationg mode 1. See attached picture.
When I click on save, and refresh back into the ‘Activities’ screen, it will always goes back to the setting of ‘Set Thermostat mode’. See attached picture.

With SetModeTarget = Off, I can control and switch off the air conditioner through ZXT-120
With Set Thermostat mode = Off, I am not able to switch off the air conditioner.

Any idea why REACTOR doesn’t set what I selected?

The “Set Thermostat mode” is a synonym for “SetModeTarget”–they are the same service and action. So when you return to the activities, the first matching service/action is selected, and that happens to be “Set thermostat mode”.

Try this sequence of steps, and let’s see if you are able to turn the thermostat off using EITHER:

  1. Start your AC unit running by any means.
  2. Go into your ReactorSensor and reset your action back to “SetModeTarget” and “Off”, but stay on the Activities tab and hit the “running man” icon to run the action. Reactor will show you the action request it made. Did the AC go off? If not, stop here and reply back with that info.
  3. Turn the AC unit back on.
  4. Now change the action to “Set thermostat mode” and “Off”, and hit the “running man” again. AC unit off? Let us know what happened.
