I bought one Qees Reto Dimmable Shell switch and one Qees Reto Shell Switch (non-dimmable).
While I could include and configure the Qees Reto Dimmable switch with my Veralite, I have not been able to do so with the non-dimmable switch. I have followed the manual to the letter, even tried to reset it be pressing the shell for 40sec, but no luck.
Any advice or solution will be highly appreciated.
The first thing to try when a Z-Wave device won’t include is to do an Exclude on it.
If the device was already included on a different Z-Wave network then it won’t include again. This can happen even on “new” devices, perhaps because it wasn’t cleaned properly after factory testing, or because it has been returned by a customer and re-sold by the retailer.
You can use any Z-Wave controller to perform an exclude; you don’t need to use the controller that it was included with (since you don’t even have it). Since you have a Vera, use that.
I have also tried that, excluding it, bit I received no confirmation from Vera.
