Unable to get basic scene working (lights turn on when door open)

I have a schlage door lock and a zwave light module

I create a scene
set the command for a light to turn on
set the event for a door being opened

I can run the test and the lights turn on… and if I unlock the door through the interface the light turns on but if I physically unlock the door the light does not turn on…

Has anyone had this problem and know a solution or can point me to a good tutorial…

If you want the light to gone on when the door is unlocked then use “A PIN code is entered” and in the scene enter the number representing the PIN code used.
