Unable to get any information on - ZDW232

Hello,

I’m new at this z-wave. I bought a vera2 used with the following accessories
3 - ACT HomePro ZDW232
2 - HomePro ZRP200

I have already put the devices to work, all work, but ZDW232 always says “Unable to get any information on” when I send command to link says “Transmit failed with code: 1” but it works.
Where can the problem be? (Note: The device is near the Vera2)

Another thing, I had to use 2.78, because no device works in 3.20!

We currently have this configuration:
Testing connection to: download1.mios.com … OK
You are running the latest version: 1.1.1245.

L Version 2.78: 1
House / Node
Suc SIS Role: YES PRI: YES

Use Z-Wave version 3.20 instead of 2.78 (Uncheck)

Best Regards

"Transmit failed with code: 1"
I believe this is a general error message that means Vera did not get an "Ack" back from the device.

*Edit. One thing you could try is to re-include the device as an “existing node” from the dashboards “Add / Remove Devices” tab

Another thing, I had to use 2.78, because no device works in 3.20!
If the device works with 2.78 there is no reason I know of that would prevent it from working with 3.20.

JOD.

Remember that when using 3.20, you must also perform the zwave 3.20 hack in the advance tabs once after applying the 3.20 firmware. This will then allow you to include devices with 3.20 running.

Hi

Even when check box on:

“Use Z-Wave version 3.20 instead of 2.78”

See this:
Version 2.78 L:1
House/Node
Role Suc SIS:YES PRI:YES
Last update N/A
Last dongle backup N/A

Did you do a reboot of the machine? Go into the advanced icon and then to wifi / net tab and click on the reboot button. See if the information in the zwave tab changes to 3.20.

when I do this, this message appears at the top right:
452:
4.52 upgrade ok

@Alex

what version are you running? 1245?
If so, what does the suc/sis info say on your device?

There are some bugs in 1245 that can be quite irritating.
Another option could be to try an upgrade to the public beta 1338.

And ‘Use 3.20’ is still checked? That’s odd.

BTW, if you’re keen on using 3.20, given that it seems you only have a few nodes right now, it may be best to do a ‘Reset Z-Wave network’ while on 2.78 (this seems to work even with .1245), then perhaps do an upgrade to beta .1338. As I understand it, you should end up with 3.20 automatically in that case.
