Unable to clear Z-Wave settings from Trane Thermostat

Hi,

Just got a new Vera Lite ;D and was trying to move my Z-Wave settings from the Honeywell Tuxedo panel to Vera.

I imported all the settings to Vera and then did a backup, factory reset on the Honeywell & Vera to make the Vera primary.

After I imported the zwave settings on the vera lite, the trane thermostat no longer shows up on the Vera unit or the Honeywell and i’m unable to clear the Z-Wave paring on the thermostat :frowning:

I have unplugged the Trane from the wall and let it sit overnight, still no luck in clearing the settings. Trane/Nexia team is of no luck as they dont support anything but Nexia gateways

Appreciate if there is a way to clear the zwave settings or would i have to buy another thermostat as a replacement ? If so, any recommendations other than Trane that work well ?

Is Vera primary now?

Did you try excluding the Trane (using Vera) and then including it again?

I missed that step.

Vera is the primary. I can’t seem to get the thermostat to show up in the Vera even after I do a restore from backup

My Trane has a status screen where you can see the HomeID and NodeID. You could verify whether these are assigned, and if the HomeID matches Vera’s.

Or just exclude and include it again at this point. It doesn’t matter whether Vera currently shows the Trane or not.
