Already done. Minor issues, but seems to be running better than before. This is not a recommendation, just my experience.
EDIT: This time I resisted messing with things for about an hour. All my devices woke up and configured correctly. With Vera you always have to be patient!
I swore I wasn’t going to upgrade unless I absolutely had to, but I was weak. Fortunately, it loaded in less than 10 minutes and everything seems to work.
LOL - I read the beta thread and watched it like a hawk. No issues for me, all smooth. I have a static IP as others did and there was no issue during this upgrade on the VL. I’m watching the supposed Luup engine optimization and really hope that will actually benefit me.
Only odd thing I encountered was post the VL upgrade, two scene notifications triggered to my phone. Those 2 scenes are set for sunrise but looking at the last run time of the scene in the UI it was this morning like it should have been. No biggie I guess.
No issues with either the Plus or the Edge. But both were on the beta already without issues. No fix for the Vision smoke sensor showing always alerting yet which I reported on the beta. Hopefully the next firmware has a fix and won’t be 6 months away.
My two problems still not fixed. I have a ghost Device error “Device failed to configure” and all my battery devices still show battery level of 100% and the batteries are not 100%. I have been waiting since March to add anything else to my Vera Plus. I’m tired of waiting. I did the Firmware upgrade today and that was a mess. I have never owned a device that has so many problems.
Known Issues
I2/I3 Inputs cannot be triggered for Qubino Flush 1 Relay, Flush 1D Relay, Flush Dimmer[/quote]
What does this mean? I’m still running the previous version and have the Qubino Flush Dimmer ZMNHDD1 (zwave plus) and the ZMNHDA2.
Only the ZMNHDD1 won’t trigger the I2 and I3 inputs. Does this update break the ZMNHDA2 or is the issue with the ZMNHDD1 still not solved?
Hmm - After upgrade I have lost my Vera Plus on the network - times out on its fixed IP, and doesn’t ping either. Checked my DHCP server I see that it has tried to acquire a new dynamic IP but it times out accessing that too. Left it for an hour and then rebooted - still the same. I hadn’t previously installed the beta.
So I login to getVera I can see the controller and if I select it then it connects but curiously not locally - it still uses the WAN address. I can now however check and see that it has reverted to DHCP* and I can see the address it acquired (which matches the router info) . However I still can’t connect locally using that address or even ping it - which is very strange and a bit contradictory as the WAN access is working. Any ideas ?

I saw this reversion to DHCP raised as a bug as soon as the beta was released - I can’t believe that Vera just ignored customer feedback on the beta and released the final version with that bug still there ! After all what are betas for but to catch and fix these issues .
Has that happened to anyone else? I have my mine configured for a fixed IP address, as with everything else in my house. I don’t want it going haywire changing to DHCP on it’s own.
I know this is not helpful at this point, but this is why I assign IPs thru my DHCP server vs static IPs. Same result but you don’t have to worry about losing a device if something goes wrong, or if I rogue device conflicts with your static IP.
Reverting my Vera to static IP seems to have worked and I can now access it locally - however it is showing offline via the Vera portal even after logging out and back in
On initially doing this I again couldn’t access the Vera locally - I just got the Vera logo top left (some progress) and a spinning green wait circle - which eventually timed out with a ‘Luup engine taking too long to reload’ error message. I couldn’t fix this despite reloading the engine - and a power cycle but it has now eventually loaded but with local access only. The controller remains offline in the Vera portal.
There is almost nothing installed on this Vera Plus as I have two other main controllers still, a UI5 Vera Plus and a UI7 Vera Lite.

Update:
Also just noticed that WiFi was re-enabled after firmware update :-(
The portal has now picked up the controller on its static IP- so all is well but all of this could have been avoided by Vera paying attention to the beta feedback. I assume that as some static IP users are not seeing this that it varies depending on... if you have already installed the beta or perhaps from what base firmware version you are upgrading. There were several previous firmware versions of the Vera Plus out there it seems. I have my Vera Lite to update now so I will see if the same thing happens with that.
Indeed - I too prefer the router to reserve IP’s but it has a limited number that it can reserve and I’m already using them all so there are a few devices I have to manually assign.
Upgraded my Vera Edge. Took about 8 minutes. No issues and everything seems to be in order.
Have about 50 devices and a handful of Sonos devices controlled by the Sonos plugin.
Just did the upgrade on my Edge and all working as before. They fixed my camera issues (device was not responding but working fine). No more message from my cameras
