I just upgraded firmware from previous version to 1.7.1320, and now my vera android app cannot pull a temperature from the thermostat. The thermostat itself and UI7 both show the correct and changeable temperatures, but the android app reads 0 Fahrenheit and cannot be changed.
the thermostat is Honeywell with z-wave (not the wifi with a plug-in).
any info or direction would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
My apologies if this is the wrong subforum. I looked around and wasn’t sure where it fit best.
So, I have the same issue and have raised a ticket on this.
They have responded quickly and gave an option to revert firmware of the controller which would put us back where we were. Not sure I like that due to notifications, and alerts on the dashboard fixes.
I’ve looked at enabling decimals on the Honeywell (We have the same model) but I dont believe its an option…
The next thought is a different version of the Android app… I’m on 7.118 which version do you have?
Hello sfrjames,
I?ve just wanted to let you know that we?ve managed to reproduce the issue with the mobile app and we?ve already reported it to our development team.
It should be resolved asap with a new update for the mobile app but I don?t have an ETA at the moment.
Please let me know if I can be of any other further assistance and I will get back to you asap.
Thank you!
Regards,
I have the same version (7.118) for the android app. thanks for the info. I’m not sure what’s more of a pain, rolling back the firmware or the android app not working with the new firmware.
