I have UI7 with Sonos plugin 1.3. Two Sonos devices configured and working. Tested TTS within each device and it works. Created a manual scene with "Say: then “Play” and it will not work.
Suppress the second action then it should work
Thanks for the reply. Pretty much a newbie. “Suppress” do you mean delete? I have gone back into the Advanced Editor and don’t see anything for suppress. Please advice, thanks!
Considering my english level, yes, suppress=delete. You just need to call the Say action for TTS.
I removed the Play action and it did not work. To test I removed all actions and added only Play. that worked. I added Say action back with “en” as the language and “GOOGLE” as the engine and that worked. Thanks!

Yes the language is a 2 characters code like en or fr.
Your other action, Play, has too be avoided if you want to have the tts action working well.
I would love to add this I just cant figure out how to create a scene with the sonos to “say” I only get the play pause stop and volume buttons any help would be greatly appreciated.
For UI5, go into Advance.
Select the device and the attached provide the inputs available
You need to turn on a light in the same scene to make Sonos say something… I think it has something to do with “Scene is ‘active’” in the top of the page… It might be a bug ?
