UI7 apps do not update automatically, can't manually update

I have a few apps in my Vera, i upgraded to UI7 from UI6.
Apps like Mimo garage door and Countdown timer for instance,

I see there is a new version of the app, visiting the app have the auto update checkbox checked.
visiting the app in the store - shows they have a new version.

For some reason these apps do not update automatically, actually none of my apps updated automatically.

And - i can’t find any way to manually update them! all I can do is uninstall it and install it again.

I did it for the garage door plugin and now it works perfectly on UI7.

For countdown timer, i don’t want to uninstall it since i will have to re-create all the timers i have in my vera and redo all the logic.

Anyone knows how to fix the auto update? or alternatively, how to manually update apps?

It seems like a system wide issue and not app specific since several apps experiencing the same issue.

Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks!

I just find myself calling vera support more and more and with the new UI it seems they are the only ones who can fix issues like this.

You can only do the following locally (not through the MCV servers!)

  1. For the device you want to upgrade … goto that advanced tab.
  2. Under the “Params” tab (for the latest release) find the “plugin” number. Typically a 4 digit number.
  3. From a browser on your lan type the following:
    http://Your.Vera.IP.Address:3480/data_request?id=update_plugin&Plugin=XXXX
Where XXXX is the plugin number from step 2.

You should get an OK … this will cause Vera to reload. Wait for this to happen before you try to upgrade another plugin.
