The latest VeraMate update (5.5) fixes some connection problems that were introduced in 5.4. There are still a couple of minor problems which will be fixed next week, but UI6 should be usable again for those who were having problems.
The current known issue is connecting to a wifi other then the one your Vera is on - this will take 60 seconds to realise its the wrong network to use a local connection as the network connection doesn’t fail immediately.

I’m running UI6 and don’t use the mios.com login. VeraMate 5.6.1 premium version.
What’s the format of the URL for “guest login”? I tried http://<my_ip>/cmh/, http://<my_ip>/cmh_ui6/, <my_ip>/cmh/, <my_ip>/cmh_ui6/, <my_ip>

Hi @cray - I’m very sorry for missing this message! Better late then never though.
5.6 sometimes didn’t show the guest login properly, so if you were on the same wifi network it should’ve had 2 options, one for connecting to the device detected, or enter in a URL/IP. For future reference, you could have just entered the IP and it should have connected. 5.7 should be able to detect the vera a bit better then 5.6.
