UI5 working pretty good for me

Just wanted to say I’m having good luck with UI5 and Vera 2.
Two Vera’s, home and work, and they are doing well with UI5 version: 1.5.255
Took a little bit to get used to the interface but all in all it is much more user friendly and most of the annoying glitches seem to have gone away.
Thanks for the good work MCV.

Not to be snarky but:
Please! Please! Please, gods of the Vera firmware, issue updates only when they are stable and won’t break things.

for sake of information i had used 1.5.255 and - with my devices 3-in-1 ezmotion/hsm100 - UI5 was not working correctly at all. Ultimately, it was unusable.

I could repeat your statement in relation to UI4 with Zwave 2.78: it is working very well since the moment i downgraded,
actually not a single reboot/issue in the last 3 weeks. I have more than 40 sensors of different types connected to it. Judging facts, i consider it a very good product which is 100% worth its money.

No judgement on MCV and their policy, I am sure that they are able to deal with facts and with reasons that could make customers unhappy and looking for alternatives. Everybody knows that pandaboards and openzwave are just behind the corner, and the difference between MIOS and an opensource system is a simple one: customer support and infrastructure to make customers’ life easier.

Honestly, they were very reactive as soon as i reported the problem - and contacted me back for mentioning they were trying to solve the issue, and they connected onto my system (with my authorization) to understand possible causes. If they think that the direction is UI5, it’s their business decision.

Sincerely, I don’t see/understand why it’s better than UI4 today.

Do any of the Beta Testers have any good news to report on the .286 firmware? I’ve been waiting to upgrade from .1362, UI4, Vera 2 until things are better with UI5. I need my 3-1 Sensors to work. Any news would be helpful. Thanks

Thank you for the update.
I will continue to wait on the side lines until MCV gets the bugs out on U5.
