UI5 Routing Update problems - Vera 2 , 3.20

I received my vera last week and this is a brand new installation for me so its still in experimental /trial mode so i can learn and understand what i need to do. my vera 2 was shipped with UI5, im holding of jumping the gun and downgrading to UI4 just yet but this i guess maybe the ultimate fall back plan.

I am having some problems with updating the vera routing tables, I only have a small network at the moment (5 devices) but was having some connectivity issues with the farthest device from the controller. I thought it may have been a h/w issue with the device but I have swapped around the devices to see if this made any difference but what i found is when I’m trying to heal the network its not seeming to actually update the routes? I have ran the repair multiple times UNCHECKING
Re-configure all the devices when done.
Only update MiOS routing (overrides other settings)

but when I run AP15e ADD plugin the route never seems to change, I have no idea what is going on here so was wondering if anyone can help me out a little.

So I have managed to improve things a little by continually playing around with the repair options/reconfiguring etc but have had to sacrifice a module just to be intermediary, the odd thing is that the doesn’t show this as a neighbour even though they pretty much have direct line of sight and are only 4m (12ft) from each other.

Even though it doesnt show up as a neighbour I am pretty sure that its routing via it as it has improved things, I just find it strange it does not pick it up as a direct neighbour.
