Ok,

I want to make a scene that turns on a wall socket for 5 seconds when someone enters a code in my lock and then turns off. i have had this set up in ui4 and it was fairly simple to do. so far ui5 has been just as easy its just learning how to do it. so my question is how do i do it in ui5?

No… i want when someone enters a code for a outlet to turn on… then 5 seconds later turn off. i know how to make it so the lights only come on durring certian times of the day. but thank you for the reply.

ah ok
then you have to set the trigger for the light to go on when code is typed in and at the 5 seconds tab you set the light to off

hover or click on “immediate” click manage delays at bottom type 5 click seconds, then select your module off

for a starting user it is not that easy to accomplish easy tasks nor is it clearly explained in the wiki… all n all there is still a lot of work to do for the folks
