UI5: Latest Upgrade Broke DSC Alarm Panel

Just to verify that I am reading this properly:

This plugin b[/b] is still working for me in 1.5.201, even without the hack, because the uncompressed files are already present on my system. It does not work in 1.5.233 because the plugin does not use the XML tag to include additional files. Is this correct?

Plugins that put content on the device using the ControlGroup/ControlHeader/ControlPair tag no longer work in UI5 and must be re-written to display content.

MCVFlorin,

When updated the plugin you broke the short codes for lu_sdata. For some reason, my DSC plugin was updated to 1.1 with out my blessing. I had code modifications added for fixing a 14 character bug when receiving broadcast labels from the alarm panel. This also breaks compatibility for my app that checks to see if the alarm device contains vendorstatus, vendorstatuscode, armmode, etc to distinguish that it is an alarm system so that proper controls can be used in my app.

Can anyone confirm if this issue has been fixed in the latest update to UI5?

I have not tried it on my Vera 2. It is still running 1.5.201. My Vera 3 is running 1.5.232 and the dsc plugin is working fine.

I just upgraded my Vera 2 to 1.5.236, and the DSC plugin is working. ;D

I did upgrade and its working. But my issue now is when I add a scene and try to add a trigger for the alarm, the DSC Alarm isnt listed within all the other devices.

That is probably why my scenes to arm all sensors when the alarm panel is armed is not working. This is on Vera 3 though. Been busy the last few days and haven’t had time to play. But that would make sense to why the scenes are not working.

Yeah, I had a trigger set when the alarm was activated it would turn on all the lights in the house… And its not working… back down to UI4 lol…

If I get time I’ll see what needs to be added.

Thanks man!

I have a scene with a trigger that if it is night when the alarm is deactivated, turn on the entryway light for two minutes and then turn it out. I temporarily removed the Luup code for determining if it is night (for testing purposes since it is currently daytime), and the trigger works as expected.

When I first upgraded to 1.5.236, my two Leviton Z-Wave dimmers were reported as unable to be configured in the UI, even though you could still operate them from the UI. This caused my triggered scenes with that light to not work. I ended up excluding them and then including them again to fix it. A heal would not work. This allowed the scenes with triggers to work again.

The thing that is still not working for me is text notifications; email notifications are still received. This has been the case with every version of UI5 that I have tried, but that is certainly not related to this plugin.

We’re looking into this.

I also am getting email notifications but no text notifications from Vera 3, both work fine on my V2, is this a known issue?
