UI4 Cannot Create a Scene with a Command which includes "UNCHANGED"

I recently upgraded to UI4 (with a bit of difficulty) and have found what appears to be a bug. A bug which seems to have appeared in previous versions of the UI, but were fixed.

Problem: If I create a scene which is triggered by an event, and has a command which includes “Unchanged,” when I save the scene, “Unchanged” reverts to “Off” which appears to be the current status of the device included in the event.

My goal is to monitor when a given light is Turned on. This event triggers the scene which has a command of (If) Unchanged - After 1hr - (Turn) Off. When I save the scene and go back in to verify it, the “Unchanged” section, under the command tab has reverted to “OFF”

Rebooted Vera.
Refreshed Browser.
Tried a variety of Switches and devices with this command.
Cannot get it to work.

Comments or suggestions?

Thanks,

Frank

If you’re getting odd behaviors in UI4, you can open a Ticket with detailed information about the specifics of exactly how to reproduce (etc). These are getting a lot of attention right now.

The other way to do it is to file it directly into http://bugs.micasaverde.com, using the “ui4 Project” in the upper corner drop down, and then there’s a permanent record of it.

In addition to posting here, I submitted a trouble report through the Vera UI4 interface.

I posted here in hopes of getting some input from other folks who may have run into the same issue and maybe a work around.

Although this is still an issue, I did find a work around, which seems to be working correctly.

Workaround: Create a scene which is triggered by an “EVENT,” the event is Device is turned ON. The COMMAND is set to turn the Light “ON - After 1 Hour - OFF”
