Having bought an AirCam Dome today, I was disappointed to find out on the forums and in general that it was ‘impossible’ to add the Ubiquity Aircam ip cameras to to Vera.
Well… I accomplished it after 4 hours of debugging.
So I thought I’d document it here for anyone else to use.
First off
The camera I used is: Ubiquity AirCam Dome
I downgraded the firmware to v1.2 beta.
In settings you need to disable or allow the following
Disable
rtsp authentication
https
Enable
Anonymous Jpeg
test by visiting http://IPADDRESSOFCAM/snapshot.cgi
Then add the camera IP address alone in Vera/add camera and then click next
Then manually set up the device information.
