Two UI5 issues fixed

The variable_get issue reported by some developers and the issue reported by sjolshagen here were affecting only Vera 2 / UI5 users. These issues had one common cause: a bug introduced when making the Lua numbers to be double precision floating point. The bug has been fixed and the issues disappeared. We apologize for this inconvenience.

What this also means is that now Lua numbers have double precision on Vera 2 too.

Thank you very very much for having a look at this!

How was it fixed? Did you release a new firmware? If yes, how do you update to that version?

The current firmware on MiOS is 1.5.236. I updated and it seems to work better for one particular issue I was having with my own plugin. I’m assuming this fix is in there, maybe.

Can you update for the remote access, please ? I have this message when i try to connecte:

The requested URL /remote/1.5.236/ was not found on this server.

A french version for this new firmware isn’t available ?

Correct, 1.5.236 contains that fix.

Not yet. We plan to release another firmware for both Vera2 and Vera3 later this week, or the next week containing fixes for most of the reported issues.
