Turning Vera3 Wifi on/off via Luup

Does the LuuP command(s): os.execute(“wifi down wl0”) and os.execute(“wifi up wl0”)
work on a Vera 3 to allow you to enable/disable the WiFi access from within a scene?
(I know it works on a Vera 2 but not sure if also works on the V3?)
