I have an extra GE dimmer switch that I bought at Radio Shack when they had all their stuff on clearance. I’d like to have it control my front porch lights, but those lights are not dimmable. Is there any way to have the switch act as a simple on/off switch?
You could try changing the ramp rate and ramp step (discussed here). That would basically emulate on/off, but is not the same as a true relay-based on/off switch, so YMMV.
