I searched the forum and only found one thread on this subject and the last comment was in September past. I saw no mention if anyone actually got this device working. ( http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,15264.15.html ). I recently purchased one and I am having difficulty adding it to my Vera 3. I went into Devices then Add Devices then Advanced Z-Wave devices. The Z-Wave repeater continues to blink red and nothing on Vera-3. I even reset the device by holding the add button for 30 seconds.
When Z-Wave devices fail to include, you should first perform an exclude procedure, then perform the include.
Your repeater is, in Z-Wave controller terms, a generic binary switch. The inclusion process should be straightforward. There is no need for the advanced inclusion options. Go to Devices → Add devices → Add ZWave devices, like light switches, door locks, thermostats, etc.
