1,5 years ago I bought a Vera Lite
since day one I have had one problem and that is that it not communicate with the devices in a good way
Almost … every time I try light up a lamp so it says …
Waiting for node to reply after 1 retries
Sending the Z-Wave command after 1 retries
Waiting for node to reply after 2 retries
Sending the Z-Wave command after 2 retries
Waiting for node to reply after 3 retries
Sending the Z-Wave command after 3 retries
Waiting for node to reply after 4 retries
Sending the Z-Wave command after 4 retries
Transmit failed with code: 2
The swiches I use is Fibaro FGS221, FGD211, FGS211
first I thought it could be “bad reception” so I mounted an external antenna
and range got better but the problems did not disappear.
This is a signal/route quality issue. @Bulldoglowell provided a decent suggestion, but if the problem has been occurring for a year and a half, there have already been many heals.
Signal/route quality issues are resolved by adding intermediate nodes. You need to add more nodes between Vera and the problem device(s).

The antenna made it better, but not good enough, additional nodes are needed.
I have three nodes in total, sounds strange that you cant make them work without buying more nodes.
I will try to move vera to the same room as the “problem” node.
It may sound strange to you, but its a one of the characteristics/benefits of mesh networks. An excellent and detailed explanation can be found here at Vesternet.
