Is it possible to control my Trane XL824 thermostat with built in Nexia Zwave bridge with my VeraLite? I have been seaching online for a few days and can’t find anyone who was able to do this.
i’m also curious about this, i’m considering picking up the xl824…did you ever figure this out? anyone else have any ideas? (although i think you’d get better responses in the thermostat forum)
While the Trane XL824 is a WiFi thermostat, it has a built in Nexia gateway that speaks directly to Nexia’s internet servers. It is unlikely that this thermostat can be made to work with Vera or other non-Nexia controllers.
