I have seen similar posts before but looking for more info.
I know RCS makes the thermostat for Trane and I know they are some what the same.
I have a Trane A/C system and I personally like the look of the Trane Cover rather then the more boxy RCS.
So Trane has probley atleast 4 part numbers that I can tell and RCS maybe 2. Some of the Tranes have the 4 leds on the left of the screen some dont and maybe the older RCS does? You can find some as low as 60.00 and other 160 or more. Do any of them read outside temp on the screen? If I have one with outside temp sensor hooks like RCS (I have 4 zones in the house) do all of them read outside temp on screen or does each one need its own outside temp sensor?
Trane:
TZEMT400BB3NX
TZEMT400BB32MA
TZEMT400AB32MAA
TZEMT500BB32MA <------- Appears to have external sensor inputs like the RCS does, maybe only Trane that does?
RCS:
TZ43
TZ45
