I have been using the Trane TZEMT400BB3NX thermostat with Vera Lite for 8+ months and am mostly happy with them. The Vera logs all thermostat events to a database which enables me to query, display and graph all the activity.
I’ve noticed the report for IDLE is delayed. I’ll get immediate reports for CoolOn, HeatOn, etc. but IDLE is always delayed by 3-4 minutes. So I’m not getting an accurate time for when the system shuts down.
I’m using local sState= luup.variable_get(“urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:HVAC_OperatingState1”,“ModeState”,devId) or “Unknown” to get the value: (CoolOn, HeatOn, Idle)
Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
I’m also getting weird Cool Set point values everyone once in a while. Will have a value of 143 degrees, 164, etc. Then within 2-15 seconds I’ll get the correct value reported. I’ve seen other posts with similar issue.
