Trane Thermostat Node not waking up

Currently one of my Trane Thermostats is giving me this message when I try to change the temperature remotely through Micasaverde:

ERROR: Node communication failed, waiting to retry when the node wakes up

How do I fix this? I have already tried removing and re adding the device to no avail…

I’m having the same issue with mine in a vacation home. Tried a power cycle of the thermostat and the vera 2

I’ll be there in a few weeks to try and remove it and reinstall it.

I’ll update what I find out

Usually that message is for battery devices not hardwired. What UI are you on? When did this start happening? and when you add the device is communicates fine and finishes setup? Are you adding it threw a full power inclusion leaving the Vera plugged into wall power and adding threw the UI?

I had the same problem and tried a number of things and I’m not sure which resolved the problem

I removed the thermostat from the mount and remounted it. That did nothing
Our internet service provider changed from Comcast to Hotwire and my router and Vera were both rebooted
I also removed the the thermostat scene and now only have the device show up in Vera
The problem disappeared
I am now able to control the temperature remotely on my computer and I Phone
