TKB Home TSM02 Sensors Issue

Hi all,
I obtained a couple of TKB home TSM02 sensors.

These 4 in 1 units comprise a reed switch, PIR, temperature and a light sensor.

The temperature and light sensors appear as expected in Vera as separate devices, however the reed switch and the PIR manifest as a single motion detector.

Unfortunately and critically this means that whether the PIR has been activated or the reed switch activated appear indistinguishable in the Vera UI, rendering the reed switch capability useless. :frowning:

With reference to the device’s manual:
https://www.google.co.nz/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CB0QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.z-wave.ru%2Fpodderzhka%2Fskachat%2Fcategory%2F82-tkbhome.html%3Fdownload%3D199%3Atsm02-manual&ei=50fWU8GMFYv98QXm54L4Ag&usg=AFQjCNHHAiq5RbbJDFOtvKhhGj00wlFLTQ&sig2=y-wLF46snYTSHocy78F0Sw&bvm=bv.71778758,d.dGc&cad=rja

The device does appear to report distiguishable Z-Wave messages for these two events:
“When the PIR motion detected, the device will unsolicited to send the 'Sensor Binary Report” to the nodes in group 1’ Sensor Type: Motion (0x0C)

When the Door/Window state changed, the device will unsolicited to send the ‘Sensor Binary Report" to the nodes in group 1’ Sensor Type: Door/Window (0x0A)"

I wonder whether any more experienced users have grappled with any similar issues previously?

Obviously, ideally the PIR and reed switch should have their own discreet motion detectors (c/w their own discreet Armed/Triggered properties in the UI (I’m on UI5). This would be my preferred solution, providing maximum opportunities for most appropriate use.
Have raised a ticket with MCV asking whether that could be possible, but if anyone has any clues as to point me in the right direction to DIY, I’'m all ears.

Alternatively, I wonder how can I distinguish between the two different sensor type reports in LUA code? Am comfortable using LUA if needed, but haven’t a clue as to quite how I can read the sensor type from the Z-Wave message report?

Hi there,
I see that you were left in the dark here…
I have the same issue - needs to distinguish between the Motion from the Magnet.
Have asked TKB - they say it is solved in UI7 (4 devices).
I did not try since I’m very concern about UI7 (have tried to upgrade a month ago and run back to 5).
Any other ideas out there?
Thanks
