A search would yield you many results on correcting the time being off.

I’ve found a solution for the summertime issue but nothing for the issue found in the supplied link.

It does show the correct time for 2 seconds before it switches to 2010.

It must be a connection issue of some kind. rdate -sp pool.ntp.org gives me a connection timed out as well. All other internet on the vera is working though.

Search for ntp on the forum. There are a few threads that discuss this very issue.
