Have not used Insteon before so have a question can a FanLinc - INSTEON Ceiling Fan and Light Controller, Fixture Module (Dual-Band) is wired inside the fan … can this wiring be done in parallel with a wall switch so both can be used???
The fan linc would be installed in the fan ceiling fixture and you would use an insteon device like the keypad linc to control the fan and light. There are other insteon options you can use to control the fan linc.

I missread the last part. The fan linc would need constant power to have come trop of the fan and light. What would you use the wall switch for? To control the light or fan.
I have a Fanlinc in my house. I’m not sure what you mean by parallel. I have the Fanlinc in the fan and a 6 button keypad in the old switch location. The keypad is set to turn the light on and off and the four scene buttons select- high, med, low, off.(local control) The keypad does not actually any switch loads it just sends the commands to the Fanlinc.
If trying to use it with the regular switch also I don’t recommend it as it will not function properly.
is this fanlinc zwave? can vera control it? sorry for my igorance.
Walter,
The FanLinc is an Insteon device not zwave. Natively Vera can’t control it but with fba’s Altsteon installed it works great. You’ll need and Insteon PLM along with the Fanlinc and probably a KeypadLinc if you want local control.
