thermostats., vacation rental, suggestions

new guy, still doing research on what to buy…

Did some searching on thermostats in the forums for brand comparisons, last one seemed to be March
with new products coming out, firmware, changes etc. Was wondering opinions on thermostats. I want to put one at a
rental cabin, so it needs to be fairly idiot proof for guests. Will be running a heat pump with A/C, would be interested
in getting outdoor temp as well. Any thoughts on what anyone is using in vacation rentals, or what to avoid?

Thanks for all the info so far!
Les

Interested in this as well, also have some baseboard heat and PTAC units.

If you are using for baseboard electric line voltage heat there is no Zwave Stat on the market. You would need to relay them.
