I recently got the Filtrete 3M-50 and am using it with the associated plugin on my Vera Lite (1.5.408). It works fine so far, but unfortunately my wife finds it to be completely unacceptable aesthetically (and I can see her point). I need two anyway, so I can relegate the ugly one to the upstairs, and find a new one for the more visible location downstairs. The basic requirement from her is that it be all white except for the display. I’m considering the Trane TZEMT400BB3. Anyone have other suggestions for me? Functionally how does the Z-Wave Trane compare with the Wi-Fi Filtrete?
I have a the TZEMT400BB3, it’s pretty reliable and responsive. looks-wise nothing fancy, just a white tstat… I never tried the Filtrete 3M-50, so I cannot compare them, but I think the Trane integrates better with Vera.
