The setpoint on the Thermostat widget seems to display and track the heat setpoint regardless of heat / cool mode. In my area, the air conditioner is on 80% of the time. Of course, I can still drill down into the widget to properly set the cool setpoint, but the main display is misleading (and not functional) when I am in cool mode. Anyone else notice this behavior?
Yes, this has been brought up to ImperiHome before. You can search and join their Google+ group or email their help desk and see if they have any new update on it. I think a while back they claimed something on the Vera side but I think they just need to take a bit deeper dive into it. It’s just a wrong variable assignment in their app in my opinion.
It looks like this has been mostly fixed on the latest beta. It functions properly and mostly displays properly (after a refresh) There are a couple issues on my system to report (Note, I"m testing on cool mode and changing cool setpoint only):
- Heat setpoint is shown on initialization. The cool setpoint shows after a refresh.
- When changing the cool setpoint, the displayed heat setpoint tracks cool setpoint on imperihome. Displayed heat setpoint = cool setpoint until after a refresh.
