I just installed a CT-100 with a VeraLite. This is my first attempt at Zwave…
The CT-100 seems to randomly drop the set temperature well below what I would like. From 65 to 54…that’s a big difference. Any idea on why this is happening?
Can I be sent an alert when the set temp drops like this? I see alerts for when the AMBIENT temperature, but I would like to fix the problem before the temperature gets that low.
As a side note, while I was writing this the Set Temp jumped from 65 to 77. What is going on???

I have the ZTS-110. By chance maybe they are somewhat similar. For example when you first get the unit on it’s default mode is the schedule. This has all the stats of wake, away, home, sleep with time, day of the week and so on. I never wanted this, just wanted to set it to what I want when I want.
So I have the schedule turned completely off…again this is on the unit itself.
So you could have your “swing” temperatures set incorrectly. They allow as low as 1 degree changes that the unit can automatically run/not run in that 1 degree. If I set to 75 i can get a max temp of 76 and min temp of 74. Check the swing settings. Check the differential settings as well. It could be this.
I turn all those features off. See if this is similar to what you have and are experiencing.
