There's something bizarre going on w Vera!

Logged into my system and found 3 devices marked 1,2,3 attached to one of my rooms. I did not add any devices within the last 2 months. I have tried deleting these devices using the trash container on the UI pop-up box. Sometimes it just ignores the command (goes to server busy and then…nothing), sometimes it goes away, and then comes back a minute later. It says it’s controlled by the actual switch in that room (there is only 1 “real” device- a switch). The system has given each of these device numbers…

  1. Any clue how or why this happened?
  2. Why can’t I delete these?

update: I tried modifying the room number, and controlled via settings for these weird devices. It takes the existing 3 weird devices out of the room and puts them at the top of the UI. Then it adds 3 more new devices marked 1, 2, 3 with the same data as the original ones, with new device numbers, back in the original room!

It’s like an old horror movie: " It’s ALIIIIVE!"

What device type are those, what’s their altid and who controls them?

All are controlled via: Stairway switch

alt id is, respectively: e1, e2, e3

Can you please submit a trouble ticket and specify when was the last time when those devices appeared on the dashboard?

Sure. But they are still there. They cannot be deleted!

I have had similar devices appear (for no known reason) once recently and once (in a slightly different format) quite some time ago, both times I was able to delete devices but each time they took with them a legitimate device that I then had to exclude/include
