Temperature and power usage graph

Hi, a suggestion for a future release: If I have one or more temperature sensors, I would like to be able to see a graph of the temperature for each sensor over time. I would also like to see the power usage as a timed graph.

The reason I want this is to be able to fine tune the time I switch on the heating, correlated with outdor temperature. This applies both for the morning and when I come home from work. By the way I have electrical floor heating as the main heating (electicity is dead cheap in Norway and since it is 99% hyrdo electric it means no C02 or atomic waste  )

I could always do the graphing in Excel if I had the data available, so that got be a start.

I guess Lua can solve the problem of turning on at the right time.

Hi,

Could you send a link or information on where to find a zwave enabled temperature sensor ?

Thanks !

These are european, but at least the first one is available in US version

The first one is a multi sensor (4-in-1). The US version is HomeSeer HSM100, was discussed here a lot. It has motion detector, light, temperature and battery level sensors. Vera now supports HSM100, but only the motion detector part. MCV promised to add the rest soon:

With the new release there is full support of temp and light too, including events you can attach to scenes for them.

Doesn’t seem to work for me even on 1.0.488, see attachments.

Hmm, I had to redo my whole network and re-add devices, including the multi-sensor. Now it works fine and shows temperature and brightness values:

The HSM that I have does not work either.
I was told that it is an older version that works on the multi instance class and not the current Multi command as does the more recent HSM100’s

My multisensor does not work either. European model Express Controls EZ Motion

When I hold the mouse over the reed wheel, the hint text says:
Job Failed: Job was aborted: Failed at: Getting Multi Channel Info.

I tried to reset the whole zwave network, but it didnt help.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

I am glad I found someone with the same problem. I have the same errors and also bought as smarthus hope they fix it soon. I sent my info to support twice (second time today only). Let’s hope they fix it.

Will need to go back to PC / Homeseer for the moment.

Best regards,

Ronald

I’m also having problems with missing temperature and brightness data on the European version of HS100.
I’m running the latest Vera version 1.0.491.

The capabilities of the HS 100:

Hi all,

Yesterday I spoke with the supportline. The guy was going to contac the expresscontrols company to fix the problem.

I wil post once I have news.

HI,

this is the update I got today:

Ronald,

We’ve identified a problem with the Euro versions of these Express controls motion/temp sensors. I hope to have it fixed within a couple weeks. When I have a patch I’ll let you know.

Aaron

The 522 firmware we put up today should fix the issue with Euro sensors, and other devices that used multi instance instead of multi channel.

It works now! ;D

The last firmware update (1.0.523) fixed my problems with the missing temperature and brightness data on my European HS100

Thanks guys - you made my day.
