Greetings from a new Vera Lite owner!

Got unit all hooked up, all three lights on and hit continue and I thought I was all set! Got the below message! Contacted tech support and was advised “Tech Support” disabled. Some how got to Dashboard, found tech support and enabled tech support! Nothing from tech support since. I’m ready to send Vera back to vendor!

The Vera system you are using is linked to another MiOS account with the username(s): rlumenator
You can ask any of those users to add you.

You don’t have any unit to connect with.

Any ideas for a frustrated “almost” Vera user!

Type this in your browser (whilst on the same LAN as your Vera):

http://veraip/cgi-bin/cmh/remove_ra.sh

You will obviously need to change the part that says veraip to that of the actual IP address of your Vera.

I’m having the same problem. The difference is that I’m an existing user. My Vera appears to be controlled by user jrock2000. What does the “remove_ra.sh” do?

I don’t know if this is some glitch or I have been hacked. Any suggestions?

I tried the “Remove_ra” command, but it still says:

“The Vera system you are using is linked to another MiOS account with the username(s) …”

What should I do?? Help!! Thank you!!!

That command worked for me but to get everything permanently straightened out tech support had to log in and do some work on my system.

Open a tech support ticket and they will get it fixed.

I just called Tech Support and they fixed the problem. Thanks!! :slight_smile:
