Swapping Thermostats

OK I’ve had enough with the CT30, I now know there are known problems with it and zwave.

My question is as a newbie (system was installed by a “Profesional” who has since left the area).
I am replacing the CT30 with the Honeywell TH8320WF and wondered if I can use the existing scenes I have in MIOS and can someone walk me through the process please.

Thanks for any help
Jackie

When you install a new device … you will have to go back and Fix all of the Scenes, and Plugins that reference it.

You can check the scenes quickly by clicking the Triggers tab on the Automation tab. Under the description column … look for a trigger that references your existing Thermostat (Name).

Plugins that can reference the Thermostat are things like: Combination, PLEG, and PLTS plugins.

Then you need to fixup any LUUP code that references a thermostat:
On every trigger … (From AutomationTriggersEdit Wrench) click the LUUP tab.

For every scene … (From AutomationScenes → Each Scene’s Edit Wrench) click the LUUP tab.

Sorry … there is no easy way.
If you find any references and need help changing them … post the specifics.
