Sunset scene

Very new here and to Vera Lite running UI5.
I am sure that I will have many questions but here is the first. I am having trouble setting up a scene to turn on a lamp module (Evolve) at sunset. As I am trying different things to find my errors can I run the scene manually? If i get home and start work on this after dark can I turn off the module and then click run scene to see if it comes on or must I switch to a timed trigger and replace with “at sunset” after testing. Last night what ever I screwed up not only didn’t turn off the light at 10:30 PM but when I tried to use my phone via Homebuddy to manually turn off the light, it would just blink off for a second and come back on. Waiting for sunset to test could slow me down a bit.

Thanks

Assuming your timezone and location are set correctly all you do his have a schedule with the days you want and select at sunset. Pick your device on. Then add a second scene with a schedule selecting the days you want and enter a specific time of 10:30pm. Select your device off. save

I really can’t find my error so I am trying something easy but still can’t make it fire. Here is what I am trying.

I have (1) Evolve LPM-15 “Living Lamp” and it is on the dashboard in the room labeled “Living”
Under the Automation tab I created a scene labeled “Sunset” and it also has a schedule labeled “Sunset”
I was trying to have the lamp turn on at sunset but for testing I changed the schedule for “Sunset”
The change was to “Day of Week” with all days checked and I set the time about two minutes ahead of the clock in the upper corner of the dashboard. Still no reaction from the module. If I go to devices tab I can manually turn the Living Lamp on and off.

Ironically when I was trying to setup a on at sunset and off at 10:30 PM via a "goodnight"schedule. The only change I noticed was that when I gave a device off command the module would only pulse off for a second.

Edit Apparently I needed to “turn on” the scene. I missed this due to it looking almost identical to the device command box. Now were cooking.
