Stuff to run when alarm set to "away"

So I have a series of lights that I want to turn on/off randomly when I have the house set to AWAY.

  1. Am I better off configuring a separate PLEG or use luup?

Say I want to turn on Living Room lights for 5mins at 9PM and again at 10PM, and kitchen lights for 15min at 9:30PM and 10:30PM.

Would I create 4 timers, and then 4 conditions, and set the actions accordingly?

Would this scale well? In other words, would I have memory / performance issues if I had say 50 different timers?

Timers are pretty light resource-wise. I think this is readily done in just one PLEG…
