Strange behavior with Vera Edge and Qubino Flush 2 relays

Hello Everyone,

I recently got my Vera and started building up a Z-wave network with a few nodes. One of them is a Qubino Flush 2 relays connected to two different light sources. When first installed the Qubino showed up as a main device with to “child devices” reflecting each of the two relays. A few days later another 11 child devices (motion sensors!) turned up in the UI7. I have no idea why they all of a sudden showed up or what I am supposed to do with them. Is this a bug in the software or have I mistakenly done something that I shouldn’t?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

There are already few threads about this:

Looks like a bug in Vera’s software

Thanks for pointing me to the other threads. Apparently I was not searching for the right things.

I have a little problem …
When I installed the Qubino showed up as a main device with to “child devices” reflecting each of the two relays. I can not turn on the two separate light sources. If I turn on the main module illuminate both light sources and I can turn off them separately.
What can I do?

Have you got this sorted out? Things might have changed in the recent firmwares, but it used to be that you only use the “child device” switches if you want to operate the light sources independently. (You should not start by turning on the main device.) When switching state of the main device it will affect both the connected switches, regardless if you turn it on or off.

I have the same problem.

I can turn on both relays using the main “Flush 2 relays” device. But I can’t turn on the two devices separately. Switching them off separately is no problem.

Anybody that has an idea?

As a temp solution you could “hide” the devices in the VeraEdge test luup code screen

@Alpha1 That is a good idea, but I bought the module for this feature.

I’ve installed it in my hallway and it switches the outside front door light and the inside hall light.
The frontdoor light needs to be on during nighttime and the hall light only during the evening until bedtime. Two completely different schedules.

Because I can switch the devices off separately, I presume that it must be possible to switch them both on separately.

It really frustrates my.

I just bought and installed a qubino flush 2 relay. It created:

  • one parent on/off - toggles both children

  • two children on/off - each toggles itself, and if any one of them is on, the parent is also on

Using Edge with latest firmware.

BUT!

I added the module and I had an error configuring. Removed it then added it again and everything worked fine after that. You might want to try re-adding it.

Found out from a friend that he had to send his qubino back to get a firmware upgrade and all worked well afterwards.
