Hi,
I have an issue; the status of my switch doesn’t update if it was changed by an association key (takes really long time).
What I mean is that I have set association group 2 in fibaro to turn on and off a lamp. It does turn on and off the lamp but it doesn’t update the light’s status in the UI.
Pressing directly on the on/off z-wave switch used for the lamp will update its status.
What is the reason to this behaviour? Anyone else experiencing the same? How to solve?
When a switch is changed by association with another device, Vera does not find out about the change directly. It must poll the status of the devices to find out the change. Do you have polling on for the switch in question? It is generally on by default. Generally, this will make the UI update within a minute or so.
It is also possible that you have a device in your system that is set for polling, but it does not respond (such as a powered device that does not have power- outdoor switch?). This will affect polling rates.
