Startup LUA failed

One of my pleg devices has stopped wanting to start, saying startup LUA failed. I have not added anything to startup LUA. I was configuring some new conditions at the time and suspect I have done something to brick it but as I can now not start it to change anything, I am a little stuck! The last thing I did was to add a condition that was taking an input from a satisfied condition in another PLEG device. Any advice on how to go forward?

Cheers

Need a debug Log file … that contains the restart … A post of your Status report would be useful as well.

I managed to fix it by cutting and pasting the conditions from advanced tab and modifying manually then pasting back in. Not quite sure what caused it to have issues though. One thing I did wonder - I named the input for the PLEG device condition the same as the condition it was looking for. ie:
Input
HLSs1Double Special Automation has satisfied condition: HLSs1Double

(Special Automation is the name of the other PLEG)
Is there some restriction around reusing the names that could cause it to complain?

Do you have the before/after of the corrupted data ?
It might help me to find the source of the problem.
There is no problem having the same names in different PLEGs … or referencing one from the other as you have shown.

I’ve got this problem now on all 3 of my PLEGS.

LED-CFL PLEG[75] : Startup Lua Failed
Home and Away PLEG[105] : Startup Lua Failed
Environment PLEG[107] : Startup Lua Failed

Unable to open any reports/logs.

EDIT: I’ve uploaded a couple of different backup’s from the past couple of days with no success.
Could this be a PLC issue?

What Version of PLEG/PLC ?

Latest. 6.9

I was considering un-installing the PLC and then re-installing.

I did what I was considering and it solved the problem.

I’m guessing the PLC was corrupted somehow as all is right in the PLEG’s again.
