Very cool @Strangely, you know that now I am going to have to find a place to install one of these doors. That is a much better solution than the one I was considering here:

which would just be a roller shade in a door frame with side channels that lock the fabric to the frame sides. I like how the guy who did the Star Trek doors put a vent above the door for access and so you could hear the whoosh of air as it operated.

I think I’m doing this when I frame the media room downstairs - have to demo some of the bathroom I’ve been building though, but that’s ok. I’m thinking pressure sensors under the carpet to trigger this. Active RFID isn’t precise enough for this - at least not the cheaperrfid hardware.
