SQ Blaster Plug in .. what for ?

Hi guys… I’m not new to using plugins etc… use a PLM for X-10 etc…

I just bought a SQ Plaster pro and have been using the SQ Remote to control Vera3 on the iPhone and iPad.

I don’t see the use in having the SQ Blaster Plug in in Vera though… I am missing something… since it HAS to do something.
The SQ Remote will talk to the Blaster with out Vera…

Can someone please point me to what I am missing out on,…

It’s mostly for when you want to do automation from Vera. Things like “Power Off the TV at 3:00am” are part of my staple for it… Others use it to power on the TV when Theater Lighting is turned on (etc), or to turn on IR-enabled Air Conditioning units when coming home.

All actions that require Vera to be able to do what you normally do from SQRemote, but would otherwise have to be present in/near the room.
