Are special characters no longer allowed in MIOS passwords? For over a year my main MIOS password contained special characters. As a consequence of some work I was doing on my system today, I was required to reset my main MIOS password. However, it appears that special characters are no longer allowed in MIOS passwords. When did this change occur? Is it possible to once again allow special characters in MIOS passwords? It allows for much more secure passwords and it was allowed at one time.

Thank you for the information link you provided. I have implemented a longer password because I am no longer able to use special characters. I guess the take away is that from the link you sent me is that, special characters or not, everyone should use passwords that are at least 14 characters long.
What I don’t understand is how I was able to create a password containing a special character when I created my first mios account.
