Sonos support coming soon

Just got this great news from the ImperiHome support team:

“We are currently working on adding support for sonos directly in the app; it’ll be release in the next few weeks, and we hope you’ll like it !”

Oh cool , that is awesome!!!
exactly what I have been missing.

Awesome! Thanks for letting us know.

;D

Yea, I’m quite eager to see what the Sonos integration will look like.

Its out now…works 90%…getting some weird issues like trying to change a station with the widget. But I understand it just came out

I run the wizard, but it just spins and never finds my device. tried on two separate tablets :frowning:

Are you using SONO’s play’s as I think that’s whats working now. I know all 4 of my play one’s work and their beta forums see to have people saying the same as you but they are not running PLAY speakers and that was the reason.

On the latest Beta but but could also not find it. However I can find it on my Mobile Phone but NOT on my Tablets. I’m 100% sure they are both on the latest Beta.

p.s. you will need to add a ‘system’ it’s not VERA specific. Similar how to add the KODI part.

I have both Plays and Connects. No go for either. Don’t have a phone to try it on.

It fails to find my devices as well. Just spins forever during step two.

i changed the way Sonos communicate to wifi only but same result.

Anyone else get this working?

It works, but not very well anyways. You not missing much at this point.

In this screen shot the living room is playing and the rest are all grouped and also playing, but as you can see it doesn’t know that. Volume and individual control might be the only thing useful right now.

Mr. fluff - Fist Pump!!! YES YES YES

Do anything special to get it working, or did it just “see” your system like expected? Heck… honestly volume control along with generic transport would be awesome.

Nothing special, I’m on a stock NOTE 5 phone and have 4 play ones on wifi.

I would assume network should be fine if the sonos app works, but that’s the only thing I can suggest is that upnp and such internet settings are not being blocked.
It did take awhile during searching to find them but it found all and I had to repeat the process each time for each of my players.

Seems like a pattern was with people on tablets not phones, but then I saw someone with a sony phone having same problems so I don’t know what the pattern is for some people but not others.

It works on my samsung S6 edge.

Although this morning I had an widget for favourites as well , but that is gone.
Now only ply-stop ffw-rwd and volume.

Hopefully the “group” and “timer” will be comming as well.
